Write a useful experience summary
You do not need a polished portfolio to ask about training. State whether you are a complete beginner, learning independently or already working on repairs. Give one example of something you have practised and one thing you want to understand better.
Keep customer information private. Do not send customer names, phone contents or identifiable repair records as proof of experience. A brief description is enough to begin a course conversation.
Choose the questions you need answered
Ask which starting path fits your background, which practical activities are currently offered, how the trainer checks progress and what preparation is expected. If you are exploring SKM, ask for the current programme and assessment details separately.
Confirm teaching language, timetable and any trial-class arrangement directly. This checklist does not announce an intake or reserve a place. Write down anything still awaiting confirmation so you do not mistake a general discussion for an enrolment arrangement.
Plan the visit rather than arriving unannounced
WikiMobi Academy lists M4A/13, Jalan Pandan Indah 4/1, Pandan Indah, 55100 Kuala Lumpur. Ask Steven to confirm the meeting point and visit time, then check your own travel route for that time of day.
Do not buy tools or bring a customer phone for practice unless the Academy has specifically arranged it. Ask what, if anything, is needed for your visit. An enquiry does not require a phone model because this is about education, not a repair booking.
After the visit, review fit
Summarise the suggested path and its reason, what you saw, the practical arrangements confirmed and your remaining questions. Consider whether the schedule and level are realistic for you, not only whether the equipment looked impressive.
Discuss any uncertainty with Steven before making your next decision. Keep the course page and this checklist as references so the follow-up conversation stays focused on your learning needs.
